This shyt will blow your high to smithereens :russ:

I loved it, probably won't watch it again unless I'm trying to get someone high and freak them out but it's an experience that's hard to forget lol

Movie was brilliant up until the horse stuff. And even then it had built up so much good will, I was willing to vibe with that for a bit.

But they never tied it all together. The satire prior to that was sharp as fukk....the horse stuff they kinda just threw it out there and didn't tighten up what exactly they were trying to say with it.

And yeah I get it....slave labor = beasts of burden, etc....but like I said it was half baked.

Regardless, Boots is a damn fine writer/director and even if I hated this movie I'd check for his next project just based on his creativity and talent.

The Truth
I tried watching it, couldn’t get past the 20min mark before I cut it off.

I got a long ass flight coming up so I might check it on there again

Everything about the Asian dude was very off-putting to me. The fact that this dude goes around starting unions, but we never really dig deep into is motivation behind all this shyt. The fact that he fukked Cash's bytch, effortlessly (you know chicks only give part of the truth). Speaking of that yellow heifer, she was his fiancee one day, and then "messes around" with the Asian dude the next day. Then, ends up getting back with Cash. No repercussion for either her or the Chinaman. Tessa's body was looking good in those scenes where she wasn't wearing much. She still has a weird face, though. Plus, why does she play the same dumb hoe in every movie? People shyt on MBJ for being one-dimensional, but so is this bytch.

Anyway, as most Brehs said itt, the movie was amazing until the third act. I love the commentary on Late-Stage Capitalism combined with the issues of being a Black man in such a society. I actually liked the horse thing at first, although it went off the rails at the end.
