Feel like they were going for shock factor more than artistic value.
Yo...I bought my 11 year old nephew to see this movie with me
I didn't know, dawg...
How he react when he saw what he saw? *But also*
He told me straight up he felt uncomfortable
I just thought it was just gonna be a few titty scenes and I'll just cover his eyes at that part, but when that Infamous washroom scene happened, I was too overwhelmed for me to know what to do. I was out of it for like 2-3 seconds then I remembered that I brought a kid with me and I didn't know whether I should just drag him out of the theater or just close his eyes for him so I'll see the rest.
But I picked the latter..
And man, this is the same nephew that caught me smoking weed on the porch.
I'm the "bad" uncle
This your brother or sister child?
I’m hoping you said brother too cuz I’m sure a sister would be like
“Why my child talking to me about horse dikks? Where the fukk did you take him???!!!
My favorite experiences in recent memory have been seeing Ari Asters last two horror films in rural red blood American theaters.I remember when I went to see Kick Ass and recall a bunch of soccer moms with kids there watching. Then 15-20 mins in seeing them take a mass exodus evacuating the theater
When this movie too dropped, I do recall a few gasp and maybe like 2 walkouts by some white folks
