I'm not sure what your definition of "getting caught up" is. Yeah UPLOADING can get you caught up. This thread is about downloading and copyright infringement alerts though. If you're downloading from a DDL site, there is no way for you to "get caught up" with one of those letters.

I was obviously just talking about the sites getting shut down at anytime from the very first post.

I usually never seed after I download shyt using torrents. I just stop it after it finishes and deleted it. Been doing this for years and haven't gotten an email from anyone.

EVERYTHING available via torrents is available via direct download. And ain't hard to find like some would have you believe.

And then you nikkas don't even understand how torrents work? Of course if you're using a torrent you're uploading. What do you think seeding is? UPLOADING is what gets you flagged. Think possession vs possession with intent to distribute.

You have to create a forum name to access all the links but this forum pretty much gathers all the direct download links on the net into one place. Though for me I think that site is primarily good for TV shows, music, and Software. They have a huge movies section too though.

Yes, but the forum has been since megaupload and them got shut down. These new hosting sites have god awful speeds.

I got hit with one for downloading some porn. I ignored it. Most of these are trolls. If they refer you to a website and try to make you pay otherwise threatening to sue, ignore it.

My isp is the one that contacted me and gave me a strike also. They attached the e-mail the trolls sent them.
