The Last of Us is one of my favorite games of all time so I guess Sony is doing something right. Meanwhile the last MS studio game I loved was probably Halo 2, and that was only for the multiplayer. I don't even think there's a single player Microsoft game that I'd consider a classic.
Is "Sony" this one big studio that all creates the same game? Is Sucker Punch studios Naughty Dog?? Is Santa Monica guerilla games? Bungie Made Halo and now they're dropping games on PS4. I guess this criteria for what falls under "____ owneed" is faulty. You're just going to go in circles.

He's not interested in pretty much most things Sony therefore those games, irrespective of their reception by critics, fans and the like will be ignored for purposes of winning an online argument.

I was talking to the other dude, not Meach. either way, this thread is just bait for arguing opinions and then trying to discredit those that don't fit the narrative the OP wants to produce. This narrative that all Sony first party games are games which have little to no depth in gameplay, linear corridor level design with an emphasis on graphics over gameplay(which makes zero sense since graphics and art design has no bearing on what mechanics a game will have.)
The only reason this last point seems to have a leg to stand on is because PS4 is currently the most powerful console out now so it's easy to point to any game that looks good as being a bad game simply because it looks good. You then point to good looking games that are good(Infamous Second Son, Resogun, TLOU, BB, DC etc.) and out comes the "No it's not good because at exactly one hour and 23 minutes into chapter 4 there was a QTE that bothered me."
