But that word "eventually" means a lot. I believe even more people want it simply off of monkey see, monkey do and hype. The majority of people that want the console can't even tell you the difference is between PS4 and PS5 besides graphics...people don't know and don't care to know what they are buying. They will buy what they see/hear others buy, and that applies to everything, if you think about it

I'm not disputing that their aren't but at the same time you got what 114 million people on PS4 alot of them want to update to PS5.

I’m sorry but hardware wise the ps4 is just trash compared to the ps5. Loud ass Jet engine, slow ass HDD loading times, hot as hell, frames rates capped at 30 for most games, resolution below 1080p, etc.

PS5 even if playing ps4 games is just an all around better experience. I was at my Bro’s yesterday and wanted to see what Miles played like on the 4 and it was unbearable. I feel sorry for brehs stuck on last gen if they got an option to upgrade

Exactly just the instant loading times is a big upgrade. I would be on my phone 2 min waiting for the PS4 to load....

Hate to use the example again, but let's say Apple. NOBODY is buying their products for what their phones can actually do (or can't do, for that matter); hell, 90% of people have no clue what they are buying when they buy a phone. But Apple built a name for themselves and they can run shyt off of pure hype alone. No innovation needed

Part of it is hype, part of it is legacy/ popularity/ prestige/ history everything mixed up into one... All sony gotta do is focus on making solid AAA games...
