Sony need to release their first party games on PC day 1 just like Xbox

Last I knew Nintendo only had 2 consoles that sold over 100 million. The Wii and Switch. Every Playstation console has sold over 100 million except the PS3 and PS5. The PS3 was pretty close to 100 million.

The only way Nintendo passes Sony is by counting handhelds.

Nintendo isn't competing against Sony or Microsoft. Their primary customer probably doesn't own or even care about a Sony or Microsoft system. If they care about those they already own them. It isn't Nintendo or something else choice.

Doesn’t matter, nintendo and sony share almost the same model. They draw you in with exclusive content to get you to buy the hardware, nintendo makes far higher revenue from their 1st party while sony relies on 3rd party but at teh end of the day they both need you to buy the hardware first.

The only way this changes is if sony opens up their own storefront on pc which probably won’t happen cause then they gotta compete with steam, GOG, Epic, and Windows store for 3rd party sales

Both hbo and disney tried it and it didn’t work. It just proves that the day 1 business model won’t work for everyone.
