Nintendo releases their games on mobile because they don’t see them as direct competitors, same reason sony will release on pc and switch. Sony said last summer they didn’t see nintendo as a direct competitor and they were telling the truth

Microsoft is in a desperate situation where they’ve already acknowledged that PS is their direct competitor and that releasing games on PS hurt their hardware sales and subscriptions and they’re still doing it because they have to

They’ve realized that they are better off launching on sonys larger install base and taking the hit than to not release on ps5. Sony will continue to take more marketshare from them along with a 30% cut off all the publishers they spent nearly 100 billion dollars on

Most of these big Xbox games you’re referring to are sequels to games that are already on all systems (CoD, Doom, Fallout). They didn’t change back when the acquisition(s) happened, why would they do that now?
