No contract on earth exists in perpetuity. Offering a contract for 6 years from now, does not mean at the end of the contract the agreement will be immediately voided.

Yeah, they specifically reference Minecraft multiple times because its been multiplatform since they bought it leading you to believe that deal is also in perpetuity but its probably not.

The game just exists as it always have.

Not even stupidity. It's Phil's obsession with maintaining the "Good Guy Phil" forward facing persona.

If they want to make the games exclusive, just say it. But trying to play the public perception game by saying one thing, but then doing the other (shout out to all those Bethesda games you'll probably be able to play wherever you want. ) is really the center of the issue here.
