What makes you think they're giving up on the Vita when two hours ago everyone in this thread was because they were focusing so much on it?

You gonna sit here and tell me demographics have little to do with it when i can pull up the sales charts for Wii games and see Mario Kart, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Play, Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus, Just Dance 2, Just Dance 3, Wii Party, Mario Party. Of their top 15 games only 2 are non-party family type games, both Mario Galaxy's.

No system has ever been that lopsided when it comes to party family type games to hardcore games.

LOL, you willfully ignoring that those games would not be bought in the first place if the Wii cost as much as the 360 or PS3.

You gotta buy the system first, then the games, and if the Wii were $360 out the gate it would not have sold like that to begin with. That is the point, you can try to argue it all you want, 96 million Wii's are not moving if it came out with a $360 entry point (with game).

If they did then they would have bought some of those shooters that were released for the Wii too. They didnt so that tells me they were never in the market for those types of games.

Yeah a gamer might not go into a store saying that, but not everyone of them is buying the system themselves, they gotta ask their parents, and in that even price matters most.

Your fundamental assumption is that the Wii market and the 360 PS3 market is the same. If you believe some foolishness like that when all the numbers show otherwise, then there is nothing anyone can say to persuade you otherwise.

I'm not trying to be a balloon buster out here....but outside of graphics and maybe Watch Dogs....I've seen little that really seems new and exciting this E3 (And even Watch Dog demo devolves into typical third person shooter garbage at the end).

Last Of Us looks like Uncharted with zombies and an npc. I'm sure there will be plenty of fun banter and chatter between you and her, I'm sure the game will have beautiful level design and fun puzzle elements scattered throughout...but I'm still waiting for that REVOLUTION.

ok your both right. the wii sold for two reasons.

1. it had a new interactive style of gameplay that was kinda revolutionary at the time.

2. it had a low price tag.

when you add those two points together you have the reason the wii sold so well.

as far as development, although wii had the capability to deliver a really great gaming experience (e.g. metroid and zelda) it instead focused on interactive party/family games and inadvertantly lost alot of its appeal to hardcore gamers.

Breh This Gen is over next year though why would expect that? But then again halo4 looks better than next Gen

Besides maybe using a similar engine, this game looks LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than UC3. Fukk UC3 looks like a dreamcast game compared to this.

Forget the looks...it's going to play completely different from uc3...it looks like u have to conserve ur ammo unlike the uc games...which in itself should make it more survival rather then shoot up everything in sight
