Nah, I think there was a shift because of the Wii, it got these companies scrambling to try and replicate what Nintendo did. It wasn't the content that got the Wii to sell, it was the cheap ass price in comparison to the Ps3/360, that's what these fools are missing.
I don't remember any of this type of shyt with PS2 and Xbox, and those consoles outsold their successors. It used to be strictly about the games, now it's about connectivity and all this other shyt, when people just want to see games. Their conferences are geared towards people who don't even know what E3 is.
