Bloodborne and Demon's Souls remastered coming by the summer
That's not a strawman though.argue in a vacuum against strawmen
I think it's clearly the direction we're headed. it's just a question of how long
And it will get largely ignored like epic has been. Steam or bust breh.Y'all gonna be mad when Sony makes their own launcher tho

I agree. People aren't leaving Steam.
Sony can’t even make a multiplayer game you think they got the devs to make launcher like Microsoft Epic SteamY'all gonna be mad when Sony makes their own launcher tho
Sony can’t even make a multiplayer game
it ignores how we got here: "I'll just get it on PC"That's not a strawman though.
This thread begs to differ.
Hell YOU even said that's the direction we're going just a matter of "when".
There's definitely a palpable narrative on the innanets among die hard Xbox fans saying that consoles(because they see Xbox trailing behind in 3rd place) will be a thing of the past soon. You don't see Sony or Nintendo stans really saying that.
MS games are Day 1 on PC
how is that helping them?
and this statement ignores how that got there: "Our games launching day and date on PC"it ignores how we got here: "I'll just get it on PC"
and where we're at: "MS is going 3rd party"
reality is one thing, coli narratives are another
It's because the companies didn't really explore making games on PC when they thought they could continue to grow their console base. They created this expectation that the only way to play our product is on our hardware. Now after hitting a wall they're rushing to other platforms. Those other platforms are more lucrative than consoles. They could have been making PC games for decades, decided against it, and now suddenly it's an opportunity. It didn't just become that overnight.I don't know why so many of you conflate this type of news with an argument that this is proof consoles are done.
To my xbot brehs...weren't you all excited about the Series S?
I would think with the simple fact that (just my assumption without doing any real research but I'm confident I'm right) there is an enormous amount of gamers that can't afford, or don't want to spend $1,500 - $2,500 for a PC to play video games, consoles are not going anywhere.
It's weird to me that a company making games multiplatform is seen as a sign of consoles dying.
You can string the two concepts together all you want but it's just...weird...for the stans of a console 3rd place in sales to be harping on and on about consoles being a thing of the past. If MS would have won 2 console generations back to back you all would be singing praises about the future of console gaming as a cost effective option.
Ya'll really need to decide what sales actually means because from one day to the next it matters and then it doesn't matter.
"we will expand our gaming experiences to PC"and this statement ignores how that got there: "Our games launching day and date on PC"
Stop putting the horse before the cart or however they say it.
There's a big difference between something coming to PC years later vs something launching day 1 on PC while their base console is in third place. Not to mention this expansion makes no mention on what exactly. Legacy titles? smaller indies? GAAS? I'd say this statement sounds better than rumors of releasing games directly on your main competitor lol."we will expand our gaming experiences to PC"
I'll just get it on PC
MS can't seem to make one either with Halo Infinite's 10 year plan ending up in a blunt
