I don't know why so many of you conflate this type of news with an argument that this is proof consoles are done.
To my xbot brehs...weren't you all excited about the Series S?
I would think with the simple fact that (just my assumption without doing any real research but I'm confident I'm right) there is an enormous amount of gamers that can't afford, or don't want to spend $1,500 - $2,500 for a PC to play video games, consoles are not going anywhere.
It's weird to me that a company making games multiplatform is seen as a sign of consoles dying.
You can string the two concepts together all you want but it's just...weird...for the stans of a console 3rd place in sales to be harping on and on about consoles being a thing of the past. If MS would have won 2 console generations back to back you all would be singing praises about the future of console gaming as a cost effective option.
Ya'll really need to decide what sales actually means because from one day to the next it matters and then it doesn't matter.
