Fam when teachers allow you to take a test home and use notes, they practically expect/want you to cheat. They want everybody to easily pass and make their grading 100x easier. It's the end of the semester, they got shiit they want to do instead of having to grade finals. The teacher saying, "Don't work together" was a *wink wink*.
Teacher was probably shocked/upset that he snitched and created more work for them when they already booked their flight.

Nothing but pussies over at reddit. That father did the right thing by heart checking his cowardly ass son. He's teaching him a valuable life lesson. If the son was about that life he should have stood on his square and told his friends that he was the one that ratted them out. Instead he wants to hide his hands.

The "right" course of action would have been to suggest not to cheat then leave the chat and do the test alone while not diming them out.

The kid may have been concerned about someone else snitching and his number being in the group chat and lumped in (?)..but even then request to be taken off the group chat and take screenshots on the way out proving he did not participate in case they did get in trouble.

He deserves to live the short term future of his life in fear
