A common hood practice is putting utilities in a child's name. When my cousin was 3, he had a cable bill, power bill, and phone bill in his name. When his bytch of a momma fukked that up, his 1 yr old sister took over

Found out late teens/early twenties though when I went to open a credit card at my retail job and got denied. Was confused as to how I got denied on my first card

This was before credit karma and what not so I used a freecreditreport trial and saw all these phone bills, delinquent credit cards and heating bills...I was hurt. Not fun confronting family over being done wrong like that, good intentions be damned.

1. He should’ve been monitoring his credit score LONG before thinking of getting a home. (Don’t use Credit karma get Experian)

2. There are workarounds and opportunities to repair it.
