I'll give you WR, but everywhere else, we're fine with talent. We're 2 years removed from signing the #1 OL class in the country. Dontavious and Josh are really good LBs. What you saw from those units was piss poor coaching and and injuries.

This offense is designed to mask talent deficits anyway. Pass blocking is always the hardest for OL's, but this is a run heavy offense. The extra "eye candy" with the motions and jet sweeps stalls the opposing teams D line which allows the O line to win battles easier. The WRs don't have to deal with those bullshyt option routes Jimbo had them running where everything had to be in sync to work. Watch film on this offense and you'll see how often the WRs are running wide open. FSU hardly ever had those type of busts with Jimbo. If the WR can block on the edge with jet sweeps and bubble screens and win the occasional 1-on-1 with a CB who's eyes are in the backfield and a safety who's in the box to stop the run, we're good. McKitty is about to straight feast in this offense at TE because of that too.

If Barnett stay true to his press, "9" man box, our LBs will be straight too. It allows for the LB to play down hill and even if they get sucked up on a play action, it won't put them in that bad of a spot. They simply have 2 reads since they're a base 4 quarters defense. If your "WR" (RB) doesn't take you out on a route....attack. Only two things to worry about. This team is talented. Think about it....we're probably gonna have just as many players drafted as we did wins this regular season. We have former #1 players at their position in Taylor, Cam, Wilson, Kaindoh, and Baveon. The cupboard isn't bare at all. Jimbo and staff just didn't do these kids justice with their efforts these last 2 years.

Since the 2014 season (the lost to ga tech and houston lost) I noticed major disrespect from teams that we normally don't get. This past season was wild lesser teams emasculating us, not to mention coming into our stadium spitting on our logo, jumping on it ect. That shyt has to stop THIS season, I hope Willie get his spurrier on with throwing the ball up 30 in the 4th.. fukk that blow bytches the fukk out!

It's amazing how they do black coaches though. I think people forget that Jim Leavitt was the HC for USF for 12 years and they never won 10 games. They kept him for 12 fukking years. Willie T was there 4 years and got them the most wins in school history.

When they asked him about it, he said if they keep trying and are throwing the ball, then he gone keep trying. If they would've ran the ball and punted, then he would have too. You make a great point about Harlon's systems and our LB's. They should play better playing downhill. I still think they're short on talent. We don't even have a Vince Williams/Terrance Smith level talent among our current LB's. A LB that's always around the ball and naturally reads the flow of the play. I want to see #5 ball out.

The reason our OL is short on talent is the tackle position. I think we have, what? Three legit tackles on the team? We're running guards out at tackle, and a couple of the tackles we do have appear to be injury prone.

Our roster in general is really imbalanced, in my opinion.

All in all it's going to be an interesting season.

yeah he's a very good coach (another one of Willie's boys) just wish he'd branch out more but I guess he feels better about having people he trusts. He also had a DUI, so I wonder if part of our fanbase weill have a problem with this potential hire like they did with Vic got one. I also wonder why Harlon wasn't allowed to try and bring at least one of his secondary coaches from Mich st or have a say in who he'll like to bring in. None of these Defensive hires have been his, but whatever...


Another note: Yo I was dead ass serious about Bailey Hockman winning the job at QB. I just think dude is going to shine in this gulf coast offense. From looking at his film I liked him when he first signed to us and I like him even more now watching again.




Dude came out of H.S. 6'3 190, so he has the size. Of course if James Foster commits to us (which is going to be hard to grab a instate QB from ala) all this is a moot point

He insisted that the team's approach to winning games won't change. As a matter of fact, Fisher would prefer to win without having to embarrass opponents on the scoreboard.
