Maybe this is true for cacs. But not for us as black folks. Sorry but there are bigger things in this world than stanning different athletes. This is about trying to do whats best for our community. And as Stephen Jackson has said the best thing right now is to keep the focus on the protests and not let the attention go back to entertainment like sports which serve as an escape from the real world for many people.

Well they aren't trying to end racism, or rather, they shouldn't be expecting to get rid of it completely, the most plausible change could be for swift justice for police officers that abuse their power to assault and/or murder people, which I think is what most realistic people are seeking.

There's also the matter of changing what is and is not considered a hate crime and what the consequences for that should actually be.

Let’s be real, the gov couldn’t care less about pro athletes not playing a sport. These dudes can sit out, but it’s not gonna change the way governments work. It’s up to the regular joes and legit gov officials to change the way things work.

Well that's the point, the regular joes may feel less inclined to keep fighting the good fight if there's more reasons to stay in the house and therefore they won't be able to put as much pressure on those legit government officials.
