Theres no reason to think either broadcasting network wouldnt be on board with something like that.. As i said before, the NBA playoffs would be the hottest ticket in town, the NBA has some leverage with whoever theyre dealing with. If theyre not with it, the players could then sit out.

As for the rest of your post i guess we could agree to disagree. I dont think theyd get nearly enough attention from the right people by sitting at home tweeting alone. There are more people watching the NBA playoffs then there are people following NBA players on social media.

BUT some people will tune into sports to escape whats going on outside and whats on other stations. Athletes having a protest is gonna turn alot of people off. Not because they don't care about the issues, but some people need a "break" from things.

You really think it's appropriate to label someone a leBron hater because they support the actual players speaking out against playing? Everything doesnt revolve around lebron. Some of LeBron's own teammates are against it btw. And for the record, I was excited for the season and have no issue with the players playing. But if they feel like they arent with it, I cant fault them like some people are in here. It just screams entitlement.

Maybe this is true for cacs. But not for us as black folks. Sorry but there are bigger things in this world than stanning different athletes. This is about trying to do whats best for our community. And as Stephen Jackson has said the best thing right now is to keep the focus on the protests and not let the attention go back to entertainment like sports which serve as an escape from the real world for many people.

Only a cac would think this movement is disingenuous.
