How bout making the IC title the big title on Raw?

That would immediately elevate Smackdown and the IC title as well.

I doubt they would do that....

I see where you're coming from, though.....they did the same thing when the WWE title went over to SD! and they debuted the WHC on Raw.....difference is the WHC was a new, fresh, shiny big gold belt that was specifically pushed as a top world title from the start

The IC title still has that 'lesser title' stench on it, which will take a while to remove. They're not gonna spend time doing that process on the main show....

Cena apparently being on SD! is even MORE of a reason to have the IC title be the top title there. Cena has never won the IC title. So why not have him fight for it on SD! to help build up the show, build up the title, and to add to his list of championships?

Hate to admit it, but the brand split, when done right, was good for the WWE considering the lack of WWE competition. And as others have pointed out, it gives other wrestlers the opportunity to become world champion besides the usual suspects.

I'm really surprised the one title crowd want the champ aka Roman or whoever dominating 30 minutes of both shows every week...it's stupid and it's even stupider that most of you don't realize that is what will happen if you have one title on both shows...the new show needs to have its own everything and be completely unique in order for this to work...like NXT

Dudes are overestimating the value of 1-belt.

Have the champ on RAW, ok he fights with whomever on RAW.....then he goes to SD the following night and fights with whomever on there too? Doesn't make sense. Every show should have a main event angle. And you can't have 1 champ dealing with 1 contender from RAW and 1 contender from SD at the same time.

They can easily sell a new belt to the audience. How? Hell, do a pop-up ppv(like Roadblock), and have a tourney for it. Let Brock win it or Cena win it. Boom..belt has immediate legs.

you need both shows to have different everything: different look, feel, announcer, titles, stories, writing team, ....make both shows unique...one title on both shows does exactly the opposite of that...

as far as the 2nd title feeling secondary, who gives a f*** ...that's all fan perception sh*t and message board folly... if smackdown going live does better ratings in raw no way does that title feel secondary...it's a dumb reason to want roman to dominate both shows...if smackdown some how does mid 3s, early 4s ...trust me that belt will feel like a bigger deal

Your right it makes no sense even if the champ say Seth or dbry either . The champ can't have 2 title matches every ppv So it would make no sense having them travel to both shows Anyway then that means the challenger would have to go to both shows

Rather have the world, tag, & women's titles all be able to float.
