He does fight Toyman tier villains... but Toyman is a Superman villain... so Superman and Batman fight the same tier villains.

The easiest way to explain why Superman is unable to beat batman is by looking at Superman's archnemesis.
Superman is given the most trouble by Lex Luthor.
Batman is basically Lex Luthor if Lex Luthor was on swole, knew where you lived, and did MMA.

What you're complaining about is more of a problem with the Superman genre itself; Because he hasn't been just a superhero in a very long time. Hundreds of writers have written on him, thousands of illustrators. And all had their own take on him. If you read the old comics you'd realize that he's basically omega-level mutant status. He's been given multiple abilities throughout the decades which is why most storylines require that he be depowered first. Strictly going by the comics, no one can stand against Superman, so you have to take each iteration as just a one-off.

I have never been into comic book movies, nor the characters themselves, aside from Batman, which I fukk with, though not on a fanboy level....I have seen all the movies, and the animated tv series, and I even have at least one of those Batman novels, 'A Killing Joke', I think, somewhere in my books. And yeah, I agree with the thread, in that I have little interest in the movies premise.... I have never liked Superman as a character, movie, tv series, anything, I'd rather just see a straight up Batman movie. I can buy that a character and get into the universe, I can't do that with Superman.

You guys sound like religious people arguing about this shyt. Why are you trying to apply logic for a super hero movie or super heroes in general?! Just STFU and watch. If you don't like superheroes then don't watch it. If you dislike DC nobody is forcing you to watch or go in threads about the movie or make threads about it.

Superman could kill Lex anytime though, just like he could kill Batman.

Batman would have more difficulty against Superman's villains than vice versa. Supes would body two face and ventriloquist, and killer croc, and bane... how is batman f'n with metallo? or brainiac?

This might win the oscar for the greatest super hero movie with the worst title ever. Like i said in the official thread if it was just man of steel - dawn of justice we wouldnt be having this debate.

The trailer can show bruce there at the zod destruction and voicing his worries over supes and show bout 30 seconds less of his armored suit fight. Dont even play up a lopsided fight where casual fans will feel cheated or supes fans will feel he got jobbed.

Batman even helping supes is kinda dumb unless he loaning this nikka some bread to renovate the fortress of solitude
