They'll complain either way. Black characters still are mostly sidekicks and supporting cast members and get those complaints

Only reason we got miles and Chadwick's BP is because they could have established white characters to "co-sign" them. In universe and irl under different contexts

You expect it in real life but even escapism is a luxury only white people can afford cause it always reminds us we're still not given the same respect
