I probably already mentioned it previously in this thread but I got a game shark for one game only. Street fighter 2. Game shark allowed you to use the bosses and do air blocks/fireballs.So that was you back in the day that fukked up those gaming magazines in the supermarket. shyt looked extra sloppy... the most I would do would be to open the shrink wrap off of the magazine and read through it.
If you had those bootleg special controllers with the built in cheats-i remember the ads for those when MK3.
If you know what game shark is...
sega activator. it worked with regular genesis games as well. i never had one but i think i may have tried one out at a department store.
The activator might work well today with VR since it was standard in VR at the arcades
I would smell the newness like if it was new car smell. There it is. crazy. Just crazy.
You must have been well off because I know that Sega CD shyt was like 699 or 799 when it came out. The prices of the super nes and genesis back then were just
But that feeling of opening up the box of a new game though. Especially with those genesis boxes. Nintendo with their little rectangular boxes too to fit those gaming cartridges.
I just remember games being $199 or more. And they loved touting the fact the game was a whopping 336mbyeah. they had neo geo ads in all of the major mags. i think due to the cost of the system and games, the target customer was older because the ads tended to be more mature. import companies also bought ad space in the back of the mags so you could buy all the japanese stuff as well.
