when i file >import> video frames to layers
i get an error about quick time... is that requirement?? i don't rock wit itunes so i don't have QT.. is there a work around or do I have to have it ...?

you dont need itunes to have quicktime breh, i gotta go to work in a few so if you cant get it working ill help you out when i get off tonight

check the options when you download the video, your downloading
software may off the option to convert it for you.
Photoshop accepts mov, mp4, mpeg, / wmv, avi,
open and save as copy in mov format, and try again.
another problem could be an outdated version of Quicktime.
thx for the input I don't currently have QT .. and i choose a mp4 format... a vid from youtube
i had problems selecting the range so it took me a while to delete the frames i wanted. luckily it was a small video. i used shift and the slider to move to portion i wanted but didn't exactly give me the portion i wanted.
anyway this is my first photoshop gif...
