I went weeks without watching Empire. However, one tonight, I was prepping to pull an all nighter and needed some background noise to keep me up. WHY did I choose Empire? I literally couldn't concentrate on the paper I had to write but, at the same time, I couldn't stop watching it. I stayed up all night and didn't go to sleep until I turned in that paper a 4pm the next day.

I know that I was have finished must sooner had I not pressed play on that show. They had me the moment that I heard her song:
