The advantage the Apple Vision Pro has over the quest is it has a higher resolution and more sensors. But in typical Apple fashion, you can't develop-for or sideload shyt.$500 is a great pricecompared to $3500+tax

Stop this nonsense. Apple Vision Pro is by definition a VR headset with video passthru. So is the Quest 3. It's one thing to say the Vision Pro is a better device, but it's flat out lie to say it isn't a Virtual Reality headset.

i'm not comparing the iphone to the vision pro.
i'm saying that the masses don't even know what they do or don't want. if the tech is good (ie smaller), and the price is reasonable, people will buy it.
just like the apple watch was viewed by the gen. public as useless before it was released, and yet, its been largely successful in terms of sales.
just like my example about the iphone camera.
again, if the tech is good, and the price is better, people will buy the vision pro. they will buy it over the quest or whatever else is on the market, because its made by apple.
VR is not even full VR yet... when it gets to SAO/ Matrix type of levels then i'd be interested....
