This isn't just about blacks and other racial minorities... It's a move designed to strictly target the lower classes in particular...as well as the elderly and infirm

Who doesn't have an ID in the year 2013?

Just pathetic.

In most states you can receive an ID for 10 to 20 bucks no questions asked.

Learn how to pick your battles this is one stupid battle just getting ID plain and simple

these guys are letting the democratic party planning committe lay out the strategy for black people

im fully aware of what all the players are trying to do, but as a matter of strategy voter ID is not really a crisis issue, when you are at war you have to make calls and you have to make a strategy to accomplish your goals, that means prioritizing

Can't speak English yet you want to vote? :usure:
There are millions of RED BLOODED Americans who don't speak English.

Last time I checked there isn't an official US language.

.

US Official Language(s) It's official in 28 out of 50 states :leon:

Anyway, if you need a translator to understand who you're voting for, that's not a good sign, just my .02. :manny: I love my Chicano brehs, God knows I love Chicano women, and all immigrants, sh*t my parents are immigrants, but if you live in a country, you should know the f*ckin' language. That's a minimal requirement.

I think it's an important issue

im fully aware of what the issue, its something to keep an eye on and be aware of but as i posted already Blacks Made History Surpassing White Voter Turnout Rates - Bloomberg

it is not the most pressing issue facing black people

i understand its a pressing issue for the democratic part who depend on the black vote and want to be seen as defending black people, but i have my priorities which are different than the priorities of central planning committee of the democratic party

i also said the number of black voters without id is minuscule if they even exist, which hasnt been disputed by any actual facts

Everyone is making a big "fuss" about it because it is ANOTHER attack on our civil rights.

You keep seeing it as a single outcome. We see it as an interrelated issue that is a part of a domino effect.

Nobody against Voter ID is arguing that photo IDs aren't worth it or valuable. We are arguing that republicans are trying to take advantage of many of our voting peers. It's conniving and dishonest at the very least.

Great, because of this issue, we've acknowledged that there is a economic gap that we must fill. But instead of devising a real path to citizenship plan that would empower those that are disadvantaged, they are trying to take away their inalienable rights.

Instead of you valuing the essential right of every citizen to vote, you're more worried about being that "different because I'm different" ass nikka. Your continuous lack of empathy for the black community is sickening. Your schtick is see through. You're more obsessed with being right and sounding like the smartest nikka in the room than having any genuine passion to help make things better. Log off nikka.

whats wrong with being the "smartest nikka in the room"??? lol

in other threads ive made the point that a mistake that black people and black leaders make is confusing civil rights with an actual economic plan, this voter id issue is a perfect example of this

i never said its not an issue, but there are bigger issues we need to deal with

and im not a democrat or a liberal so i never pretended to have sympathy for anybody, what i have said is that i believe in black domination and black people should focus on gaining economic and political power, fuk empathy

im not a c00n, that is why i dont go around telling black people its ok to live your life without an id

i never said i supported voter oppression but if you believe minorities having an id is an issue, the priority for black people is making sure these people have IDs, voter oppression is a priority for democratic party because they depend on minority votes, voter suppression is an issue for black people but its not a priority issue Blacks Made History Surpassing White Voter Turnout Rates - Bloomberg

these are mythical creatures like the black people without id

Norfeast groovin…
smh, yall fukkin up. This is clearly a way of moving the goalposts for certain states that decide they want to make it more difficult to register to vote. What makes yall think they won't put unreasonable prerequisites on voter I.D. cards which thoroughly disenfranchises a huge segment of the community? Some elderly people got no birth certs cuz they was born at home, this is just one small example. Why yall think they been so adamant about gettin rid of the Voting Rights Act? Why do you think they was so boosted for finally doing so? The Voting Rights Act was fought for specifically because of fukk shyt that's gonna be rampant once more, the Act that people was marching all over the south for and now those peoples protection and guarantee to vote is fukked.

shyt's real out here.....

voter id laws are stupid and a waste of time but fighting them is not a priority for black people

making the voter id issue a priority is another example of how democrats misguide black people, voter id is way down the line of things that black people need to worry

you need an id to get a job and to open up a bank account, so the priority for black is to make sure that all black people have ids to do those things, because we need people with jobs and id to develop our community

and who are these black people without IDs, do they even exist? if they do we need to identify them so they can get slapped and get taken to the DMV ASAP
I agree... how do you live your life without an ID? However, why even give CAC this first step?? CLearly they take advantage of precedent and clearly they never know when to stop. This could lead to other things.

Also these black people without IDs probably don't vote, so it wouldn't be an issue.... but most liberal Americans don't vote, most young people don't vote, most 'brown people' don't vote..... so the balance is thrown off with elections with this ID shyt. The GOP has the redneck and uninformed CAC party line voters that don't even know the issues outside of Talk radio. The dems have voter registration drives ... that includes random nikkas without ID.. trust me - I've done it. I personally registered and drove 1000's of people to the voting lines. I'm only one person. I did that so that My personal choice can have a shot at election. The CAC have their ways as well... Everyone plays these games. So this Voter ID act is just a game. It's a game that shouldn't effect shyt - but it does. Sure we should focus on other things.... but someone like Obama wouldn't have even made it to the Senate without about 25 different 'games' all working together. This is a two party system that is controlled by money and bullshyt. The bullshyt takes 'ground work' and games like this and the money and BS work together to make things happen.

so yeah, we should focus on getting out lives together- but we really should fight every battle. If this was a non issue then CAC wouldn't be fukking w it in the first place. Right from the first time White people landed in Africa, we thought " oh this trade agreement, this settlement, this and that, aren't big deals" until we ended up in chains. Why do you think CAC went through all that work, paid all that money to the media to cycle the news stories against ACORN?? They even made fake videos to push that. Everything works together. Every little piece is important.
