definitely wouldn't mind taking Hooker.
But don't we have to replace McGlinchey first?
We might need to find a way keep McGlinchey
Not seeing a better option in free agency and starting a rookie tackle drafted outside the first round a scary thought especially in this system
Dudes just tired of seeing QBs hurt and get mad at the result. Same dudes who complain about Kyle being to conservative complain about him dialing up a deep shot. Nevermind if Purdy throw that pass on time or step up in the pocket on that play he don't get touched
Thank youWho blocks him then? He was lined up on the TE outside shoulder and the RT was occupied by another pass rusher. If the defense line up that way the QB either need to check out of the play or be aware of the mismatch
The coach don't see the defensive alignment when they call the play in
Yep, this is my take, the level of competition at NDSU inflated Trey's rushing capabilities and Kyle might have bought a lemon. When it comes to rushing lanes, the QB draws are supposed to make the rushing decisions simpler, he wasn't even being asked to do complex RPOs yet. If he can't do QB draws then he can't really do any rushing. You gotta realize Trey wasnt running against Power 5 schools.
Some of it is having a feel for when to run. Trey is much faster than Purdy, but Purdy had a better feel on when to run.
Think about it like when you playing Madden. Just taking off and running every time you not gonna get the same kinda yards. However, you know on certain plays vs certain coverages you'll have better rush lanes. Trey still hasnt figured that out yet and that comes with time.
The way Shanahan is using Trey rushing is pretty much identical to the way Buffalo used Josh Allen rushing in his rookie year. I think Trey is only averaging like 2 more rushes a game at the same point in his career as Josh, which makes sense given how much more rushing Trey did in college than Josh. Buffalo actually increased Josh's rushing totals during the back half of his rookie career, so if we follow that plan then Kyle should be rushing Trey more next year. Using a mobile QB's legs is designed to slow the game down for the QB and let them get comfortable in the offense. People seem to want Kyle to use the Brock playbook and get rid of the designed runs, which is going to be a tougher system for a QB who had 1/3 of his production come from rushing in college.Basically, do like the Bills do with Josh Allen. Let him run a traditional offense first so he can figure out what he can and cant get away with. Then start adding those designed runs.
Fields wasnt much of a runner in college, but now he's got a better feel for when he can use his speed.
Lose power? The fukk?
Thank you
Philly was out there running 5 and 6 man fronts. When that happens, their DEs are sometimes gonna get blocked by a FB or a TE. Specifically on a playaction play
It just so happened that the result of that play was the worst case scenario. I get the frustration cuz it’s easy to point out, but these type of playaction plays happen all the time. We just normally don’t notice who’s blocking who because the QB rarely ends up with a broken elbow
I doubt it. They always find gold no matter the position. Let that bum walkWe might need to find a way keep McGlinchey

That and Trey’s gotta show that he can consistently hit the “layup” throws. In a very small sample size, his career completion percentage is at 55%Yep, this is my take, the level of competition at NDSU inflated Trey's rushing capabilities and Kyle might have bought a lemon.
