This is what bothers me. We have a very good blocking TE in Charlie Weorner that we don't even usr like that. Tyler is really like a secondary receiver type.

Woerner is a run-blocking TE, I dont think hes better than Kroft in pass blocking

Joe Montana broke his elbow in the 1990 NFC title game against the Giants and ended up missing basically the next two seasons. Not saying that’s gonna happen with Brock, but there’s no guarantee that he’ll be good to go in 6 months. And even if he is, he’ll be way behind in the ramp up period

If a pass that requires a seven step drop you absolutely keep kittle in on that play. This was a long developing play action pass you can understand keeping kittle in on those plays and it wouldn’t give any the defense any early warning either. Purdy and Lance’s injuries are directly on Kyle

Kittle’s scored a lot of TDs on long developing PA passes in the past tho

And if he was strictly just pass blocking on those type of plays, fans would be upset that he was blocking instead of running a route. There’s always gonna be something you can point to and be mad at when you don’t get the desired result of a play

i believe there's truth on both sides. Shanny did not get Jimmy or Purdy hurt.. but he did get Trey hurt and he has gotten Deebo hurt in the past.

i dont hate vic, if hes willing to run the 4-3 im cool with it, im not cool with rebuilding the front 7. this team doesnt have the money or draft picks to achieve this in a year or two
