Great analysis. I don't like how they are doing Treay, but I don't think Purdy is a one hit wonder. Too much confidence and great knowledge of the offense. You just don't see a rookie come in and look like a vet like that. Who can we name like that? Not many QB's Herbert is all I can think of.

Yo Allen is better than Darnold's bum ass. :mjlol:

Purdy would be pretty average in most offenses but he's perfect for this one. I actually think he takes a leap forward this year.

Nah, Kyle and co are idiots. It's OK to miss on players but this is inexcusable. We could have traded down and gotten Fields. We trade up and get a player we don't even use and bench for the last pick in the draft after starting what 2-3 games?

Can't even trade him for much now because failed on the trade value front as well.
Lowkey I think the Niner leak rumors + Kyle's public statements. have done more damage to Trey than anything he's done on the field.

I mean why not make it seem like its a real competition for Trey and Brock? Let em compete. If they know Brock is better then he'll prove it. If not then maybe Trey lives up to his potential.

How they are handling it makes it seem like a complete miss. It shouldnt be that way.

The problem is they'd be lying if they said that.

Brock is the starter for this win-now team barring setbacks.

What kyle has done (or rather has not done in terms of development) to Lance has been almost criminal, however putting Brock as a defacto starter now isn't one of those. Team is yet to lose a game he's started and finished. Team averaged over thirty points a game. Locker room has his back. He's just further along as a QB right now.

They were comfortable saying there was a competition between Trey and bun ass Darnols, but between the lines you always read that if Brock is healthy he's the starter.

Lances injuries and Kyle's negligence fukked Trey.

Terrible asset management.

This is a QB friendly offense. Even bum ass Sam Darnold could win a few games before imploding.

Yeah I don't Purdy would be as good in anywhere offense. Andy Reid s but that's about it

Hard for me to believe this dude is ready. Ready or not Kyle will find a way to get him injured. Most overrated coach in the NFL right now. :francis:

And that’s why we ignore the noise and keep Lance :mjlit:

It’s not a matter of if our players gonna get hurt, it’s a matter of when:why:

This leaves out Shanny's playcalling though. Once he gets a mobile QB, the entire playbook is changed and he starts risking his QB to do cute shyt.. Ruined RG3's career, then played it safe with Cousins to success... Played it safe with Jimmy, success... Gets Trey, fukks him up with stupid playcalling... Gets Brock, plays it safe to success

I feel like he'd do the same with Fields and have him running 15 times a game and injured.. I remember them talking about how he was drawing up all these new plays for Lance after one visit.. That's all he sees... "Oooo fast. Run ball."

If he played RG and Lance like the others, but they scramble out of trouble, everyone would be better off
Justin Fields has averaged more rushes per game than Trey with much greater success. The difference between them is that Fields is actually athletic and fast so it works. RG3 won OROY and looked elite on the back of Shanahan designed runs. The problem is we drafted a supposedly mobile QB who isn't that mobile in the NFL. We should have taken Fields.
