Justin Fields has averaged more rushes per game than Trey with much greater success. The difference between them is that Fields is actually athletic and fast so it works. RG3 won OROY and looked elite on the back of Shanahan designed runs. The problem is we drafted a supposedly mobile QB who isn't that mobile in the NFL. We should have taken Fields.

No the problem is we have a coach that doesn't know how to develop QBs. Any other good coach would stop trying to run him after seeing that it's not working. Trey is the QB that can make nothing out of something after almost being sacked to keep the drive going. I've seen this a few times he played where Jimmy would have taken a sack.

If this goofball ran the offense like he did Purdy, Trey would look much better than he has. Crazy thing this dummy did run a regular offense for him in the second half of the Texans game. He looked light years better.

honestly its the way he plays, you cant be a bully in the nfl and last long. if earl campbell couldnt do it, nobody else can

This man loves Lance... He traded up. He went and visited other players and was on the plane coming home, writing up plays for Lance. Last time he got to draft a QB high it was RG3.. Also mobile. He LOVES mobile qbs.. Brock winning really messed up his plans

Brock's pretty mobile too but not in the traditional running QB sense. He's more like Aaron Rodger or Steve Young lite.

But I thought he was very deceptively shifty.

That's the definition of mobile. Basically he's no Payton Manning or Tom Brady which could work in this offense he's good enough extend plays which is the one thing Jimmy couldn't do regularly.
