Where is that number from tho? speak to me like I am seven :what:

The half season that was lost in 1994-95, which was 41 games, and the full season that was lost in 2004-05, which was 82 games. 82+41 =123 games lost under Bettman. The amount of games lost under the last president was 0.

The game got worse after the lockout, too many bullshyt penalties, half the game on special teams. Not as much hitting, enforcers being phased out

I dont think he was talking about the actual game play. I agree with you btw, but as a business I think the NHL has made great progress with regards to exposure.

When I mentioned the lost season you talked about the 92 lockout as if the amount of games lost around that time equaled 2 full seasons. Now you are just adding all the lost games under bettman tenure? :ehh:

They're will be a season, Winter Classic will probably be the probably kick off the season. No way NBC and NHL want to miss out on that game and I don't think the players want to miss out on seeing and watching it either.

I've actually been following this. The NHL is just poorly run but Bettman isn't going anywhere because he makes the owners $$$. Revenue sharing needs to be expanded and revenue needs to be split 50/50 or close to it. But things are never that simple and owners are trying to drop the hammer.

I havent been this excited for a Rangers season in awhile now theres a lockout. Also does it bother anyone that the NHL is constantly tinkering with the game to try to bring in new fans and make it more entertaining but in the process they've alienated the fanbase they do have. The whole game is played on special teams now it's a joke did they really need to take away two line passes etc.
