No dummy the "fake" Jeezy fans are the ones who dont even buy his music yet wanna brag about his record sales like they contributed anything to it.

Example:

T/S claims to have purchased 3 copies of 103 yet can't provide and any evidence of doing such.

Now point me in the direction of a thread started by a Ross fan downplaying any other rapper's sales numbers.

All I know the past 3 years Ross really raised his profile, Jeezy has remained pretty low key.

Jeezy's popularity has never come close to Ross' popularity of the past 3 years, especially in the streets. Ross was everywhere. Ross was all over the radio, and had a trilateral relationship between 2 of the hottest crews out today (YMCMB & Kanye/Jay-Z collective).

Ross has been making a lot of noise, been on a lot of big singles, and been way too successful with his MMG imprint to be doing these kind of numbers. Something is going on. If you compare Ross music to Jeezy's, Ross puts out more big budget affairs and Ross' albums feel like major productions.

At this stage Ross should be 2nd to none. Maybe he'll do it on the next album. I really expected him to make his breakthrough with this album.

:whoo: you crazy Jeezy yo!!!!! You can't even be serious? :stopitslime:
Jeezy movement was damn near iconic in the sense he's following came off the strength of the dope boy movement when it was becoming mainstream. Jeezy's shirts and the snowman logo itself was getting banned was getting mad negative coverage from the media. And the fans were loving all ofthat makig Jeezy's buzz just straight ridicolous. I can't even take you serious if you yourself was serious with that stuff you wrote. Jeezy had grown cult following early plain and simple.

You are missing the point. We can say the same thing about the Diplomats movement. But Cam is not a mega star like Wayne, T.I., or Jay-Z.

Last cd I listened to was Trilla, so I haven't messed with Ross lately, I don't consider him very remarkable.

But you can't deny Ross' reach goes much further than Jeezy. Ross has been all over the radio these past few years.

And I never said Ross fans was real fane or jeezy fans were phony, but I bet jeezy would I give up that 10k sells different to be running the streets like Ross is at the moment

Ross was gonna become Tupac status with this album. This gotta be very discouraging for his fans, and I can't see how people don't see this as a major setback.

Why do people care if somebody like or dont like the artist you like. Im a fan of Ross's music. I dont care who else likes him or dont like him. I dont care how many sales he got. I hope he sells enough to keep puttin out music thoough.

I actually want him to stop rapping. Maybe just oversee other commercial albums. He has such a goofy Kermit the frog voice it distracts me.

:smh:

nikkas said he top 10 on they list some said top 5 cause of how consistent he is. 3 straight classic albums you can play straight thru with no skips not to mention his tapes. how Rozay kan get on tracks with legends these rap veterans from Hov, to Nas to G Rap or Raekwon/Ghostface and hold his own......Ross done built himself a great body of work since Trilla.

That's where the legend talk kome from not sales...

Jeezy has only dropped one album in the last 4 years breh. And if he would have dropped when "lose my mind" was buzzing he would have went platinum in 2010.

:comeon: He didn't drop in 2010. Everything else is speculation.

What does Jeezy dropping one album in four years have to do with anything?

I don't think Ross ever had a "movement", but nothing about what Jeezy was doing was iconic.

I don't know if I could co-sign a statement like Ross being more popular than Jeezy ever was without a solid explanation as to how. Ross being more popular now is far more arguable and make a more sound argument.

The fact that you think sales numbers is a factor that influences rather or not someone should be a fan of artist a or b is pretty damn embarrassing.
:heh:wasnt you one of the main cheerleaders suckin on rick ross flavored lollipops b4 this weed plate dropped when you thought it was goin to do something......now all of a sudden it aint about sales to ross stans:flabbynsick:
