i get that, just half kidding. The PS4 controller is a lot different than what the 3 was to the 2 tho. Touch pad, PS Move ability and all that. But yea its not a radical leap.

Even if the controller was an entirely different design and shape I think some dudes on here would still bytch about the no backwards compatibility

So the PS4 controller is going to double as a move controller? I seriously doubt that. It may have the functionality, but not the proper form. I bet you anything they still sell Move controllers. And if they do that will drive home my point.

keep your ps3 or 360 then. no one is making you buy anything. if you have a job and can afford $700+ on a gaming system already then whats an extra $40 for a brand new controller? chances are your old ps3 controller is lookin anyways. yea it looks similar but it is different and made to use all the features of the $600 system you just invested in.

I dont understand it...for every console ive ever purchased...I had to buy new controllers...every single one...if I couldnt purchase a second one...I would rock it out with one controller until I could get the second one...the amount of bytchin before these systems are even out is unreal...nikkas complaining about the games?...barely any games were shown...nikkas complaining about the price?...the price hasnt even been announced yet...nikkas want all kinda graphics and features?...yet dont wanna spend any money...I dont get it...

no you DO NOT have to pay for it. youll be let out of the store with just your ps4 in hand and no extra controller. no one will have a gun to your head making you buy a 2nd controller i promise you

the system comes with a controller. there you go. if you need an extra you pay for it. makes sense. the ps3 controller is not the same despite the similar design.
