So now that Trump won the election, what can the Democratic Party do better to have a chance in 2028??

We know they ain’t gonna do anything for Black Americans, even though so many of us have walked away from them, due to their lack of a Black agenda.
that's all we need to know.

Black America needs to be asking what are we going to do today and over the next four years so we're not running around hoping and praying and basing everything on a democrat, who, by your own admittance, isn't going to do anything for us. The sooner we realize this and start acting accordingly the better off we'll be.

The whole damn country came out to vote:heh:!

Buddy was a young, extremely charismatic guy who promised change on the heels of a severe economic recession. Everyone was looking for a way out, and he was the perfect guy in '08.

Almost everyone loved him his first run, and Romney was pretty disliked, so his second run was much easier.

You can google what percentage of the US is black, and where most black Americans reside and see that our vote doesn't mean shít in the battleground states, which was all but confirmed yesterday.

Hispanic voters were 8 percent of the voters, whereas Black people were 13 percent, and voted 96 percent for Obama in 08. Obama did worse with White women than Al Gore, but he did well with White men. That makes White people a wash for him. Black people turned a lot of those red states blue. Again, Hispanics aren't deep in most of the swing states.

This is the Dems new strategy. Trying to make it seem like Black people didn't sink them lol.

How did Obama win by landslides both times? Black people came out to vote. That's it. In North Carolina, Black people are 20 percent, Latinos are 11 percent. We've got bigger numbers than them in most of the swing states. The Dems neglected the Black vote (played in our faces), and that's why they lost. You guys tried to argue us down for 5 years, and now you're saying our vote doesn't matter? It doesn't work that way.
Obama won because it was his time and he had it all. 2012 had lower turnout than 2016. The Dems are pretty much ass juice the last 30 years if not for Clinton & Obama and if you want you can include two years of Biden. So that’s twenty years. America is fickle in Trump’s defense he’s had to deal with a lot of bullshyt from the Clintons, lies about Russia stealing the election, the Bidens, Two impeachments, Covid, barely losing in 2020, beating Biden in a debate so badly that he passed it off to Kamala, and the last 90 days including a few assassination attempts.

You could argue that since Obama said to him that he will never be President that Trump alone has been beating ass he beat Clinton, Biden, and then Kamala so you could argue he beat legacy acts and the future. Obama gotta hang with those loser or those losers keep calling him

Across their elections Obama only averages two million more votes but Trump is the response to Obama. Orange is more than the new black. I wish they could’ve competed against each other because even though it’s not easy to win they both beat insurmountable odds.

Obama is 63 years old god willing he will be alive another twenty years that’s how young he is that it’s been so long since he was president.

Obama and Trump break history as it’s being written

Not gonna happen. We’re still gonna be on some people of color, Black and Brown, LGBT and feminism shyt.

The Black vote is important, no doubt about that, but at the same time, it's not the “be all end all” for the Dems winning because all it takes is a few White voters to switch colors, from Blue to Red, and it wouldn't matter how many Black folks showed up to the polling stations.

Obama didn't just win because of Black people, although it played a major role, he also won because he was able to secure a hefty amount of white voters. Kamala lost because she wasn't able to attract enough White voters in key states; white voters and, to a lesser extent, Latino voters are what failed Kamala last night in the grand scheme.
Black people out number Latinos in swing states, with a couple of exceptions. Swing states can go either way, and Black people, who are 32 percent of Georgia, can easily swing that and other swing states. Black people made Obama win. White people did their usual numbers and Hispanics weren't as big as Black people to swing states.

those exceptions are starting to show, and in states that would otherwise be close, they ain't close anymore and that's squarely on bitter Latinos.

Jersey almost flipped. In bigger cities, they shifted right more than usual. Republicans did all the flipping.

I agree Black folks did not come out in strong enough numbers. But the reason they did not is because of the so-called new Black media(Tariq , Black Thought and the rest of the squad)

Esses showed their as in Jersey, they trynna make this state purple.

Dems will need to focus on latinos and ignore queers to win. They'll probably start blatantly ignoring us since we don't have the numbers to carry this party.

Start catering to cacs, Latino’s, racist’s and homophobe’s and start demonizing trans people cause it’s clearly working on the other side.

As others have said it seems Democrats went too far left when it seems most of this country is centrist-right. Like you can have some progressive policies but not too much.

I was very surprised at the NYC margin this time around which means Democrats really fukked up in their messaging.
