When you don't know what you're talking about, just let the thread pass.

I just built a rig faster than this that runs OSx for a friend for Christmas and I didn't put but 1000 worth of shyt into it. I could went HAM.

:what:

how you figure i don't know what i'm talking about?

you want me to just come in and immediately state the obvious? "you can build a better pc/hackintosh for way less"

i'm pretty sure every person on here is familiar with this fact. but the OP specifically said one of the reasons he copped was cause he had it like that.

as long as you can get what you want and have stacks on deck, you good bread

i am in no way, shape or form "balling", so i'm not coming at it from the "i could afford it but it's just not worth it" stance.

i'm coming from "i can't afford it and it's just not worth it" stance"

i just built a new pc for $900.

i5 3750
16 gigs DDR3, 1600mhz
gtx 560 ti
1 TB HD

and a well ventilated case.

i have a friend with the same mac you have and that thing gets REALLY HOT.
good luck with the lifespan of the hardware...and you can't replace the parts when they go bad either.
Yo Fetus peep the cost of a Mac with those specs

:laff: I'm dying at dude stunting with a mobile gpu. We have Macs at my workplace but I'd only ever drop considerable money on something I myself can build/upgrade/repair and won't cost $300 for a slight increase in RAM :shaq:
