IMO, it's just a bad purchase regardless of how much cash you earn. I could buy the imac but won't because I can get substantially more at that price. It's just common sense to me tbh. All good. It's your bread so spend it as you like.

Apple products are deff sexy to the point where I consider coppin. Then I snap out of it. Damn near had me ready to cop the mini(an inferior product) over the nexus7. Luckily for me the mini was sold out.

i'm at a midtown studio mixing a collabo LP with Wordsworth...the mix engineer currently is using a hackintosh because of price to performance...it runs well but to say it runs as well as a real macintosh is absurd, even the engineer himself concurs....1 crash during 2 4 hour sessions not terrible but it can be better and would be better if it was on a real mac instead of bootlegg(as per the engineer who's been doing it since the late 80's, Rich Ahee look him up)....also the new Apple monitors don't work with hackintosh's unless there is a new work around because apple has voltage detection...not apple voltage it won't work...

this is me seeing a hackintosh in a real world experience not some browse the internet downloading movies BS....

if he didn't care for the OSX environment he would be better off running Windows 7/8, but he needs it for business purposes as well as personal preference...if you want a Mac get a real mac not a hackintosh if you don't care Windows all day everyday .....IMHO
