I've never seen a fan base with as big of a "woe is me" complex than James stans. Hell, look at the OP's thread making history. Every thread is an attempt to absolve and/or shift blame to someone other than James. They literally have a ready made excuse for every shortcoming in this guys career. No other player has received more excuses for coming up short. None.

Every fan base does that for their guy. nikkas on :hamster: did the same shyt for Kobe during the Kwame Brown days. Many of the same nikkas so quick to throw that blame on Bron won't let Kobe take blame for shyt. All I ask is that nikkas be consistent. Either nikkas are supposed to just take over and win no matter what or they arent. Either nikkas are supposed to get it done in 4th or they aren't. The problem isn't nikkas making excuses or shifting blame the problem is nikkas shifting their thought process based upon who's doing what.

The fukk are you even talking about, even back then people were saying Mike Brown was a bad coach.

Only people I remember hyping that dude up was Cavs fans and Lebron.

Lakers fans made it clear they didn't want Brown here from day one because we thought he was a horrible coach. Lakers fans wanted Adleman or Shaw.

The issue isnt' whether or not people recognized that Brown wasn't a good coach (outside of defense), the issue is the fact that he has taken more heat for the Lakers rough start then he ever did for the Cvas failures.

But why do WE, us Lakers fans, have to give him more time before we call him out on his bullshyt coaching job when we never wanted him in the FIRST place?

What kind of logic is that?

Because LeBron stans and Cavs fans were on some "let's give him time" shyt, that means Lakers fans must do so as well?

We are the Lakers breh...not the Cavs/Hornets/Bucks/Bobcats. We know we have a championship team and expect to have a Coach that knows how to......

you know

coach!:whoo:

Mike Brown is a garbage coach, we never wanted him, and we want him gone. Same way Kentucky fans knew that fukking Billy Gillespie was garbage and wanted him gone immediately. Now, they are have John Calipari....a real coach for the program. Go Big Blue! UK 4 Life.

Fans of great franchises dont accept below average.

Is that a fact though?

Considering the fact that prior to even coaching one day at Lakers training camp, he was routinely considered a horrible coach despite having a sterling win-loss record, a COTY award...and was fired after coaching a team to a 60plus win record by the Cavs...I don't see how that is even possible...dude's entire rep as a coach was dragged through the mud and effectively destroyed because he couldn't win with Lebron :dwillhuh: How much more heat can you take than...you know...actually being FIRED...and prior than that he caught PLENTY of heat...dude was hated by "cav fans" back when those still existed...this idea that Mike Brown is just now coming under fire now that he's coaching the Lakers is absurd

Cavs fans were calling for his head as early as '07
http://realcavsfans.com/archive/index.php/t-6996.html

People have been clowning him for his unimaginative offensive sets and that clueless look on his face on the sideline for YEARS...laker fans ain't start any of that...but we're gonna pretend like all of a sudden mike brown's pristine rep as a coach is being besmirched by laker fans...just to retroactvely coddle bron??? it's unbelivable...but the "kobe stans" are bad

The issue isn't giving him time or acceptance of garbage. The issue is recognizing the impact that a bad coach can have on a team and putting the blame for failure where it's due rather than just pointing at the best player. Brown has taken more heat for sucky coaching in a little over a year as Lakers coach then he ever took during what 5 years in Cleveland.

Well for one it's two completely different basketball cultures. There's a higher standard set by the Lakers organization and it's fans (We don't hang division or conference banners in the rafters).

Also just compare the starting line ups for those teams.

The Cavs team was Lebron and the other guys.

This Lakers team has four top 20 players in the starting lineup and lost 11 straight games. If a team is in a major city, has a talent roster and loses 11 straight games no way in hell are fans NOT going to start calling for someone to be fired.

And to be honest nobody (cept that retard Skip Bayless) was blaming Lebron fro the Cavs failing till he had those disappearing acts in the playoffs.

I am talking about the same culture :heh:. The same nikkas throwing all the blame on Bron in Cleveland are the same nikkas talking about Mike Brown now. It's not a fanbase issue. It's a putting it all on the star player in one case but then putting all on the head coach when it's a star player we like issue.

Brown has taken more heat for sucky coaching in a little over a year as Lakers coach then he ever took during what 5 years in Cleveland.

That's because he's the Los Angeles Lakers head coach rather than the Cleveland Cavaliers coach.

That's why.

It's like a Forbes 100 company (Lakers) vs your local mom-pop store (Cavs)

There's more pressure that comes with being the coach of the Lakers...a successful franchise than it does when being the coach of the Cavs....a subpar franchise.

Remember how Tubby Smith got ran out of Kentucky, even though he won a national championship, went to 2 NCAA Finals, and had one of the top 3 best win pct in UK history, but yet he was STILL fired. Guess what...he left UK, went to Minnesota and he's STILL coaching the Minnesota Gophers without ever making the NCAA tournament in the 5-6 years his been there. Why? Because different standards of success are expected.

You cant realistically expect the Lakers fanbase to have the same idea of a successful season as a Cavs fan:yeshrug:
