:yeshrug: It entertained me like movies are supposed. People take movies so serious nowadays

Breh, just because I didn't like it doesn't mean I'm "taking the movie so seriously" People are allowed to not like things. Shyt was wack to me but I'm glad you liked it. Just wasn't for me:manny:

:umad:The last movie made $1B+, the second $800M and the first $700M, that's a $2B franchise and you're talkin about why Paramount are green lighting more :mjlol:. As seen with the flop and wack ass Pacific Rim, no, not any bum could have made a Transformers series successful, Transformers was a niche franchise before the films, could have easily flopped due to it looking overly corny, "geeky" and having no human element like Pacific Rim did.

Um Transofrmers is a BILLION dollar industry...and was one LONG before Michael Bay got into the business of fukkin up their movies :mjlol:

LOL@ anyone giving Michael Bay credit for the movie selling.

"Transformers" (i.e. the cartoon, the Toys, video games, etc) sold the film; they had nearly 30 years of successful advertising through those mediums before the movie was even thought of...

Anyone who had a lobotomy could have sold that film.

Pacific Rim is not Billion dollar industry....that's not a worthy comparison by any stretch.

GI Joe for example made 300 milli on their first film (dope movie btw) and their second movie sold 400 mill (garbage)...that's over 700 mill in two films...we gonna start giving credit to Michael Sommers and John Chu for having a high gross for those films? :camby:

Man only these nerds on the Internet hate those movies, the other billion people in the world at least liked them enough to see all three of them. But according to these dudes those billion people are dumb and the few hundred virgins who didn't like it are smart and can't be sold bs... Oh and pacific rim was a good movie too

I agree with but

:whoa: Pacific Rim was piff

Movie was barely above Transformers 2, story, characters, monsters, designs, fight scenes I found to be wack. Pacific Rim was my most anticipated film of 2013, the concept sounded good, monsters vs mechs, the script was also good(read it before the trailer dropped), however Del Toro's execution of the concept was just terrible. He took all the "good" that was in the original script and replaced it with crap and gave us Speed Racer with mechs and monsters. I wanted to enjoy it but I just couldn't, no scale, dull action scenes(everything was in the rain and at night) terrible characters, wack, cheesy soundtrack, It just wasn't entertaining at least Transformers 2 had that 3 on 1 fight between Optimus and Decepticons and cools scenes with Ravage and Soundwave.

This movie could and should have been like Star Trek 2009.
