question would you rather see a younger t'challa or an older t'challa, if they go the young route that might sell more and bring back the coming to america vibe like have t'challa in some way get screwed out of his chance to take the throne, disgraced he leaves wakanda for america and there he takes up living the fast life like tony stark in iron man 2 but not really enjoying it, untill something or someone motivates him to go back and challenge for the throne again

So you want them to make a Black Panther movie where they shyt on the concept of the character?

I'm not trying to see no Coming to America bullshyt. They just need to stick to the spirit of T'Challa and Wakanda like they did with all the other characters.

Avengers: EMH did a good job of updating T'Challa's origin will staying true to his character. All they have to do is something similar to that. The story doesn't need to take place in America whatsoever.

That seems like the only way it would sell

They should set it up like they did in the Avengers TV show

If I could find it I'd post scans of that fight between Panther and the Super Skrull.

Panther is one of the few heroes thats' bout that life....He be cutting heads off, snapping necks, slitting people's throats..

He set one dude on fire if remember correctly.

Plus we need somebody in the Marvel movies that can regularly put Stark in his place. T'Challa been making a fool of Tony Stark for years.

Yo, I don't follow marvel comics at all so I still don't know anything about Black Panther. But i did check out an AvX comic and saw him slap stark like a hoe, and tony just taking that without missing a beat like he was used to it :heh:

I'd definitely pay to see that in theaters if that's how he gets down

They should hire some of the writers from the bet series

The BET series was written by Reggie Hudlin (guy who directed House Party, Boomerang, and The Great White Hype). The Animated series was beat for beat and almost word for word an adaptation of Hudlin's first arc on the Black Panther comic book.

Hudlin said that a long time ago that he came across a script some studio was working on for a Black Panther movie and it was some straight bullshyt, to the point where he told the studio people that it was evil. :russ:

Anyone read Christopher Priests Black Panther? That's the Black Panther, IMO.

I was buying that comic as it was coming out, I got every issue.

Marvel refuses to release the entire series in trade though. They also ignore a lot of elements of his story (though it's understandable to some extent).

Priest has been blacklisted from what I can tell though.

What do you mean it's understandable? When Reggie Hudlin took over, he rebooted the entire thing (and negated Priests run), right?

And why black ball Priest?

I would rather have Priest write it.

Hudlin would have the shyt sent straight to video... and it would be world premiered on BET at the same damn time.

227 would come on before it, State Property would come on afterwards.
