And as for fantastic four.

That ip is being absolutely buried.

You got marvel on one side pissing on it and distancing them self.

Then fox on the other side just green lighting films to keep the rights and hoping one day to make a movie that doesn't suck.

That brand has been butchered.

But neither fox or marvel seems to want to do business with the other :yeshrug:

I wouldn't be surprised if Fox sold the rights to FF they've fukked up three times. What's the point of keeping the rights when you can just focus on expanding the X-men Universe.

Also IIRC Fox and Marvel are working together on the Legion show.

They might as well.

Who knows. Maybe they reboot both x men and ff and make them intertwined

What was wrong with apocalypse?
Mystique was made into some inspiration for mutants and became a leader.

Nerfed Apocalypse. From his look to his powers.

Pretty much made Magneto an underling for Apocalypse throughout most of the film. In the comics Magneto would never be anyone's underling especially Apocalypse.

Added Wolverine to the film for pretty much no reason. Not like in First Class where he had an appearance that lasted less than a minute.

Although I've liked all the X-Men films it's clear they need a new direction. Timelines are so jacked up, characters have been ruined or killed off way to early.

I know people generally don't like reboots but I think X-Men deserves it since the film series has been going on for almost 20 years. They could even do a soft reboot going forward with the New Mutants.

I can see Fox giving Marvel the Fantastic Four. It would make sense. The FF films have been garbage and haven't made Fox any money. I could see Fox either just selling all the rights back to Marvel or do something with Sony did with Spider-Man.

You are expecting too much from a movie studio
Its not that serious to me...because no way in hell does a movie ever get it spot on...

That would be cool. Just have Xavier be their mentor/leader and just acknowledge the X-Men in passing. They don't have to be in the movie but just acknowledge that they're around.

I'm not expecting a comic book movie to be exactly like the comic. Most stuff in the comics would not translate to film very well.

The Inhumnans can beat the X-Men almost effortlessly because The X-Men are a group. The Inhumans are an entire race of people.
Saying Inhumans vs the X-Men is like saying Brazilian People vs the Lakers. That doesn't even make sense.

They kind of kept Magneto from the hijinks..he was the meat of the plot. He was ready to kill those people over his daughter...Apocalypse did it for him. And he was the one about to flip the world upside down...the angle was he was disheartened by the wife and Child loss. Then they appealed and damn near begged him at the end. He looked strong all the way throughout. Mystique was all wrong of course. She's way too selfish to be doing what she did in that flick. Storm...or Rogue of course but Mystique? She's a killer who turned on her son and has done off the wall terrorist actions with no forward progression.

Magneto has punked out the Avengers, Thor, and the FF just to take Genosha and hold the world ransom for the Magneto protocols in Fatal Attractions.

He has to be underwritten for the Inhumans to even stand a chance. That's why the premise is so ridiculous..much like with all of the Sentry fights. He was kept away from Silver Surfer and when Nate Grey was about to slap him around, he basically ran for cover.

It's all just for story advancement. I mean...Black Panther had Surfer in a an armlock one time? Get fukking real:laugh:
