1, its pretty even.

2.. against 50-win teams :shaq2:

were talkinbout what.. 6-8teams top? there fore few matches only... heck one migh have 3 times the numbers of matches compared to the others..

:ohhh:
Kobe scores more and is far more efficient doing it

I used the 50 win team thing because Lebron got to pad his stats against 40 win nets, wizards, and pistons(09' won 39 games) that were only in the playoffs because of how bad the east is/was. It's no mystery he only beat one 50 win team his entire career in Cleavland

Here's wade against 50 win teams in the same time frame

Wade - 30.0 ppg, 51.3% FG, 59.9% TS, 5.8 rpg, 5.0 apg

Yeah but you used last year as an example. When your team wins then why criticize how somebody played. But when your team loses then yeah people will search for what could've been differently. And if a superstar player is playing tentative late in the game then that will be the first thing pointed out.

But yeah it is some bullshyt that if Lebron at this point passes for a game winner it still somehow means he's afraid of the big moment. Meanwhile if it's a Durant or Kobe or Melo the narrative is that they used their pedigree as a closer to set up their teammates. In that regard Lebron definitely gets shyt on coverage wise.

Even if he wins a title I don't think he'll get full credit unless he hits a game winner somewhere in the middle of it.

I used last year as an example because of what you just said. Winning and losing determines whether how a players performance is judged more so than the actual performance. I guarantee it would have been heralded as a great unselfish performance if the Heat had won. I am a staunch believer that it is what it is no matter the result. Beyond that people are trying to act like the way he went out last year is the way he's gone out throughout his career and that isn't the case.

Bron will get fellated like a porn star if the Heat win a title this year. You saw how quickly everyone flipped when they made the Finals last year. If they actually win it this year all we will hear about is Wade and Bosh being injured and Bron single-handedly carrying the squad and inspiring the role players to step up. The narrative will make you believe Wade was walking around on one leg and Bosh was missing his midsection if they win. If they lose however all you will hear about is how he couldn't get it done again with two superstars in Wade and Bosh and how he couldn't inspire the role players to step up like a true champion would. There will be no mention of Wade's up and down play or his knee and Bosh's injury will either be ignored or dismissed as "not an excuse".

PAD your stats.... why do you guys always decide what stats are good and which are bad?

so much more to the game and nitpicking isolated stats.. how about defending a shooter.. what are shooters % against those two? turnovers when thier on the floor and so on...

maybe lebron has lower stats.. IN SOME FIELDS.. because he was double/triple teamed.. does the stats say that?
and those teams prefered not to double Kobe because kobe is gonna shoot...

and btw.. team match up are different from one team to another.. a quick team can be the lakers.. and big team can beat miami a defensive team can beat OKC...almost on some rock paper scisors ish.... what matchup where those teams? (i know it's post miami)

Honestly, I'm not trying to hear this because this argument is only used by people when the stats don't favor their favorite players. I make that context argument all the time and get killed for it. So, nope. :birdman:

nice stat, now beat boston and okc and all the haters only legit excuses will be "he won during a shortened season/wade got him his ring"

lebron is a top three all time talent when its all said or done but he needs this ring bad and even then it wont be enough jus tto have one

i dont really classify kobe and lebron in the same category, that being said, lbj needs to get that killer instinct then he'll be scary, until then, yea..

but his game is a hybrid of a lot of dif ppl, but he's not really like kobe

Lebron is a known stat padder. I'm just putting the playoff performances in context, beating up on bad teams that should've never made the playoffs in the first place isn't impressive to me.

Lebron has been double and triple teamed, but so has Kobe so I dont get that argument
