Bron's performance last year was comparable to Kobe's first Finals performance. No Bron didnt' have the great overtime period like Kobe did but that's pretty much all Kobe did during that series because he was hurt and even missed a game and yet his team still managed to win rather easily in 6. Bron's never been on a team that could win with him playing anything less than great and with the exception of last year even him playing great wasn't enough.
Heres the funny thing...If Bron on had let's say 4 40 pt games and won a couple titles while playing like a fraction of himself he would be worshipped. If they had won last year, like they very well could have, with him playing the exact same way somehow people would have found a way to make it different. Somehow it would have been spun into a great all around performance because he doesn't need to score to make his team win or some bullshyt like that. It's not about logic, it's not about judging players on their own merit...it's about the narrative. It's understandable with the media because they get paid for that shyt but for regular every day nikkas to regurgitate that bullshyt (when it's convenient of course) is .
having bosh and wade > having shaquille
having bosh and wade > having shaquille
What kind of dumb shyt is this? Yeah if your team wins then nobody cares about you playing an all around game. But when your team is going down in flames and yet you still play hot potato with the basketball then of course you'll get criticized.
having bosh and wade > having shaquille
Stop it breh, don't make me neg you even more than you've been negged. No sane nikka would choose Bosh and Wade over a prime Shaq, get the fukk outta here with that bullshyt.
From 05'-10' against 50-win teams:
Kobe - 30.0 ppg, 46.7% FG, 57.0% TS, 5.7 rpg, 5.4 apg
Bron - 28.0 ppg, 42.6% FG, 52.4% TS, 8.2 rpg, 7.3 apg
And all the criticism he recieved last year was perfectly valid. I have never defended last year. That's not what has happened throughout his whole career though. He's played well enough to win a title or multiple titles throughout his career he just hasn't been in the right situations. Titles are more so about good fortune than how well an individual plays.
