This is not a normal year where a few here and there injuries happen, as much as some of you guys are trying to make it out to be.

This title is great for Giannis individually, but I don’t walk away from the finals thinking the Bucks were anywhere close to the best team in the NBA.

The top 3 teams I had as the best in the NBA, none of them made the finals. I don’t know if that’s ever happened before

But I mean, even Giannis got hurt. Milwaukee could've easily been pushed to a game 7 against Atlanta, and then who knows.

i dont believe in asterisks for the whole team. injuries are a permanent part of sports. i do value an organic team with mostly drafted stars winning over super teams of free agents moving around, but that only matters in a head-to-head comparison of super star players accomplishments, not to the validity of the team winning. a champion is still a champion.

Users are gonna be disappointed when the Nets do what everyone is hoping they don’t do. All this asterisk talk is because of fans being mad at the franchises who have the pull to attract 3 prime superstars. All the Bron-Heat/Warriors-KD hatred from last decade has users giving Giannis a skip in the line in terms of all time ranking, because of their hatred of the “super friends” era. This is why asterisk talk is prevalent. Because of all the hate and jealousy projected at the super teams. so if draymond doesnt get suspended you still think the cavs win the series? the nba clearly stepped in with the suspension to give the cavs new life knowing they were down 3-1 going back to oakland. the cavs still had to go out and win and the warriors still had multiple chances but that decision was only made to extend the series rather than a rule being broken and their hands being tied.
