Their original content is worth $14/month?
I'm about to cancel, that shyt only worth around $7.00- $7.99

This is true but we’ll see. Disney makes so much money, they can afford to charge $6.99 and outside of Amazon, no one else will be able to price compete. HBO and Starz will be the exceptions because of the fans of their shows.only if you wanna go back to having a streaming app for every fukking corporations content.
netflix was the aggregate when the industry was holding people hostage with bogus overpriced cable packages.
now they wanna steal and run with their model.
I can tell you for a fact I'm not paying for more than 1 sub service at a time. that wasn't the point of cable cutting
everything else shall be pirate streamed. we don't need a subscription app for every player in the media game.
There's definitely more Asian and a lot of Spanish shows I did did not mention. But they don't get the buzz because most basic people just wanna watch the fukking office on NetflixAnd that is nothing compared to the amount of shows/movies they should be picking up.

You don't HAVE to buy anything. But yeah it'll end up same as cable.pretty soon its going to be like cable prices with all these streaming services you have to buy
There will be a wake up call to a lot of these companies starting streaming services very soon. They'll find out that people don't really care enough to invest in damn near 7-10 streaming services and would rather find other means() or straight up drop the shows in general. Disney+ might get away with it. I currently have Netflix, Hulu, and Crunchyroll. I get HBOGo for free. As I get older I want to do shyt legit, but I have no problem going back to my days of demonry and bootlegging this shytonly if you wanna go back to having a streaming app for every fukking corporations content.

Blockbuster was a household name too. Netflix should've stayed a rental service and branched out into a place where you can also purchase digital content too. They made themselves into another ABC when they could've been the Amazon of digital content.Netflix is a household name that's been in the game for years now. They'll survive. I feel only a few of these new streaming sites will eat when the dust settles

Now they have to compete against Disney that owns ABC, FOX, Disney, Marvel, ESPN, etc. (They can't compete)
When they could've been competing against Cinemark. (Much easier competition since it's brick and mortar)
Now movie's are making titanic numbers at the box office every few months (Used to be rare), because people hardly rent anymore. The ones that do skip the theater, are mostly buying digital copies because streaming services don't get them until months later. Online streaming platforms catch whats left
A better comparison would be Spotify against Apple Music. They can’t price compete like Disney offering their service for half of Netflix so Apple Music already being plugged into the phones, they surpassed paid subscriptions. I prefer a centralized place for content but isn’t looking likely. Can't compete? Netflix is the king of streaming right now. This is all predictions on your part. I'm just going off what's happening now. Netflix has 148 million subscribers world wide. Here's article saying they'll probably lose 8 million subs to Disney so lets see what happens a couple of years from now.
Netflix at risk of losing 8.7 million subscribers to Disney+, survey finds - MarketWatch
Yes Disney has major muscle and a monster catalog but let me see them get at least 50-60 million subscribers first before crowning them in anything streaming wise. Its still "Netflix & Chill" in the streets. Blockbuster is a bad example though.. They were strictly brick & mortar and physical copies of movies. Netflix saw the future from the get go and branched off into streaming immediately and have about a seven year jump start on everybody. Hulu only has 25-27 million subs to this very day. Its a lot of Marvel heads on this site but lets see what the streets say subscription wise in a couple of years. If Disney does it so be it but lets see them move past 50 million subs and growing first.
