DC has their own DC universe app. Harry Potter is WB owned and I think Lord of the rings has a spin-off coming to Amazon.

They need some sort of flagship A list franchise if they want to compete long term. Right now most people are using netflix out of habit. They haven't even released that at this point Netflix is basically just Crackle. Even crackle has originals. that shyt is free though.

If I were Netflix I’d try to get at Image comics and see if they can adapt any of their series.

I never understood and still don't why they don't pump more money into that. Scout original piff from over the globe like how they picked up La Casa de Papel and put it out for the world to see with a re-edit and a dubbed version for the plebs. Between Bollywood and Asia alone there is a treasure cove of piff waiting to be discovered and perhaps I'm overestimating the market, but I refuse to believe there is no audience for this.

What channels aren't trash, since Netflix is?I'm not sure if people realize Netflix has only been making original content for about 6 years. What are these channels that have been consistently putting out vastly superior original content in that time? HBO is the only one I can think about.

that's the issue, everyone wants you to pay separately for their content when they probably have 1-4 shows that appeal to you (not all on at once). starz haz american gods and power, showtime has billions and the chi, own has a buch of shows that attract black people (women), hbo had a lot of fire and has done a good job with miniseries, etc. it's just too fragmented...cable bout to be byke yall
