So If Superman is willing to kill, why do we need Superman vs Batman

I'm telling you cats WHY the dynamic works in the comic. and why it wont work in the film if superman is a stone cold killer.

Batman skirts the law, while Superman is by the book.

Superman is "We do things by the book"

Batman is "fukk that, this is how things have to be"

What I said about Batman being Punisher is, Batman can kill, he's not the threat superman is.

But once you make superman a killer, you literally have to put him at the Top of Worlds Most Wanted, He is a god, without a sense of morality.

Batman can't kill that's the point. He can make threats to kill but he wouldn't. Again, let's see batman v superman and then we can go back to this discussion. Let's try letting characters evolve and see where the story goes

And Batman doesn't need Superman and vice versa. But they compliment each other. Batman is one of the top tactical and strategic minds on the planet. He can put clues together that most people can't figure out how they connect. And Superman is a powerhouse and not to shabby himself in the smarts department. Superman can't punch every problem which is why Batman helps out. And Batman can't out think everything. As far as comic books go......there's been times where Batman, Green Arrow, etc have yelled for him from across America a second before they die only for Superman to come do what he does best....saving people.

So now we are back to my original question, WHY DOES SUPERMAN NEED BATMAN? for the purpose of this movie, at least in the comics it's established that Batman is a bit more intelligent, and willing to fight dirtier than Superman.

But hell In this universe Superman is already a killer, so it's not like once he grabs a criminal by the legs and flies him up on top of a building, they won't believe he won't drop them. so.....there goes interrogation.

What possible help is Batman to Superman?

He's Batman. He is probably the only person who can actually defeat Superman because he's crazy enough to spend legit actual time in the cave figuring out everything there is to know about Superman because in the end Wonder Woman would try to reason with him, Flash ain't strong enough, and a Green Lantern ring can only do so much.

He knows Bats won't cross the line because of who he is, but he knows Bats will do what is necessary if it came down to it.

Honestly I don't know how any criminal in Gotham fall for that hanging from the feet routine batman tries to pull knowing that nikka hasn't caught a body yet.

Yeah....the crazies (Joker and those kind) wouldn't flinch. But Penguin, Riddler and those kind will. Remeber Batman will severely injure someone and tell them how much time they have before they pass out, bleed-out, or the injury becomes permanent to get the info he needs.

Those are all great example's and exactly why I said Superman was super smart too. But there are things Superman can't figure out or put the clues together. Read the Batman/Superman comic where Superman has a villain that they call "Superman's Joker". He needed a lot of Batman's help. Batman is crazy and can get into the minds of those type of villains. Superman is too good natured/hearted to think along those terms.

batman is on a higher pedestal just as superman is.

like superman, batman operates above the law. the gotham police couldn't stop him even if they wanted to and neither could ordinary people. batman pretty much does as he wants entirely without repurcussion and subjegates one of the world's largest and most forefront cities basically to his will. so he is a lot like superman.

batman is also probably just as notorious as superman is. what he does in gotham no doubt echoes throughout the world. i'm sure there are people all over the country, all over the globe... taking notice of batman. gotham might as well be New York, the central city of the entire world (along with metropolis I guess). when shyt goes down there it's headline news. so im sure like superman, batman is a worldwide celebrity.

if batman went rogue and started killing people, it would set the wrong precedent. he just wouldn't do it.

Superman killed out of desperation in the movie and in the comic. In the comic it messed with his head for years. In the movie you see how defeated and horrible he felt for killing Zod. And the next movie is addressing that. Lex and Batman are coming after him to figure out exactly what kind of threat he is. The reason the government isn't is because they think they have an ace up their sleeve with Superman being an American and everything. But they're still trying to find out who his is and trying to spy on him.

And no matter how much Superman goes by the book...he's a still a vigilante.

And I like how it's explained in the comics. Superman killing (again) would destroy him as a person. He would exile himself/go into seclusion if he can't rise above that. Batman though has already said.....if he crossed that line it would be too easy for him to do it again.

henchmen and thugs? For some reason I have a recollection that in that first Burton Batman movie there were points in the film where no fukks were given as to whether bad guys lived or died.

Just have it at the end of the movie showing quick glances of Flash saving someone, cyborg playing football then heading to his dad's lab, aquaman swimming with a group of whales, Hal testing out a plane etc. While bats or supes are talking about other heroes being born or some shyt
