Are we sure that this is going to be Nolans Batman?? Cause he's just about done by the time Two-Face dies. Him getting the beats from Bane just told us what we already knew.

Also IIRC, Bats and Supes were aware of each other for quite some time before they actually formed the Justice League, but Bats stayed away from Metropolis because that's not his stomping grounds and Supes stayed out of Gotham because he wanted to observe Batman to find out what he was really about.

Also that situation that Gotham was in with Bane was one that Clark would have approached carefully so I don't blame him

The city was under seige for a month and superman did nothing. :smh:

Good thing I let that lone nut take the bomb and have it blow up miles away from gothem. That was a close call.

Superman killed Zod in the comics too and it messed with him for a long time. I think (in my opinion) that's when we started getting the unsure/hesitant to act/make up his mind Superman. When you've been taught to save people and never to cause death it messes with you. And like the other person said that will be the cause of him swearing never to kill again.

Man of Steel sucked, mainly because the story was bad. One of my main issues was they never explained why he would have been reluctant to kill, or why him killing was a huge fukking deal

Sure did. most egregiously in batman returns when he strapped dynamite to a clowns chest and threw him in the sewer

People so exaggerate that shyt, especially the scene you mention. It's a throwaway comedy moment that barely registers as Batman killing a guy unless you want to be a whiny bytch about it. Which unfortunately every Nolan fanboy became after TDK.

Which is nothing compared to how Nolan's Bats stayed talking about his no killing rule for three movies but actually kills a whole bunch of people as well as watching a couple more die.

There was not need too. It was the fans who complained about the neck snapping. It fit the story IMO
you're saying there was no need to explain why Superman killing someone was a big deal?

It fit the story. Zod was about to kill someone and had no intention of stopping. Superman did what he had to do to stop him. Fans complained that he would had found another way. Even though it was more of reason then in the comic book when he killed Zod.

MOS didn't suck but it did have a lot of flaws. I watch it for the action which Snyder filmed really well. I'm not a deep enough comic head to care whether he would kill or not. Dude trying to kill off earth, yeah u better kill him.

So instead of forming a plan within a couple of days superman would sit on his hands for a month?
At least you could have said he was off world or something. :upsetfavre:

Actually the action scenes were great and I'm usually a guy who doesn't care about those. But again, the problem I had was they didn't show before hand how much not killing people mattered to Superman.

What's the plan tho? He said that any attempt to enter airspace or even try and stop him would have resulted in the detonation of that nuke.

I mean the movies premise is stupid anyways because if a Batman exists, there is no 7 year lay off. Nothing is more important than the mission. And he's sure as fukk not contemplating quitting over some trim.
