Sure it does

Kenny Omega is a star, as is Jericho, and The Young Bucks

The only reason they aren't all prominently featured is because it would be poor form to make ANY of the Elite be the faces of the company

Kenny, The Bucks, Cody, Brandi, and Page will have wins...but it would be shyt booking to make them champs or super over because there's an entire roster of people that need to be pushed for the company to maintain viability.
Jericho is a star, the rest of these people have a cult following in wrestling. Be realistic. Cody would be the next person up due to lineage.

WWE problem is that their guys with the most name recognition are Vince, HHH, Brock, Orton. There’s a lot of older faces attached to those recognizable names. Even people built up as young up and comers like Ricochet, Cedric, Gable are all over 30. AEW has actual young people on their roster getting tv time today. They aren’t hiding in developmental to debut in 5 years, they’re getting a chance right now. I feel the older faces and same story arcs ran off younger fans. AEW should keep that in mind

Unless you're Stone Cold, The Rock, or even Lesnar, you really aren't a star because you aren't selling an entire show/PPV off your name alone. :lolbron:

No one selling shyt off name brand alone like that anymore, and people need to realize that before opening their mouth talking about "stars".

People already mentioned that stars =/= talent. The WWE is loaded with talent that I feel are stymied in various ways, keeping them for becoming a stars. But, the only stars the WWE wants are the WWE, it’s brand. Ever since the Rock broke out, the WWE has done it’s damnest to make sure the brand is pushed and not the individual. And because of that mindset is why they’re in the state they’re in. They rode Cena for more than 10 straight years and damaged their roster, and now that he’s reached a good level of stardom himself, they reach for anything. That’s the reason they continue to go back to previous era’s stars, cause they stymied so many people from reaching higher levels.

john cena wasn't really a star like that either.

he was just the main cog being pushed by the WWE machine.

if anything, he drove people away from the product.
Wrong. The Big Dog drove people away. Don’t twist facts.
Big Match John vs Punk was a rating boost.
John vs Brock was most talked match for months.
John vs Umaga was a classic.
John vs Rock was huge .
