I used to go to St. John's nearby and worked at the central library across the street so really familiar with the area. I'm not gonna say they weren't racist but why did you feel the need to show them your pay stub and everything? You're still a nikka. Don't justify to fools.

I find that Indian people in that area are hit or miss. The other nationalities there are overall cool esp the few afghanis there.

To the black people who went in after...if they saw you talking to the guy who ended up cursing and spitting they prolly thought it wasn't racism but ignorant blacks. You gotta recognize the terminal is next to the food stamp center and the multiple high schools so they get all types.

I just checked out the location on google maps... I used to go there from time to time to get books when I no longer felt like paying for some of those required reading books in college. Not familiar with any stores or the bus terminal. I always went straight from the train station to the library since it was a long ride.

Yea, i dont go out of my way to speak to individuals that dont want to be spoken to but its interesting how blatant someone can be in rejecting a simple hello. Its funny that i can usually tell someones occupation based on if they say hello to me. I can tell which one of my neighbors are teachers/some kind of state worker based on their hellos. Others, i can tell never leave the house or work for some kind of small business where they dont interact with many people.
