Off day.
I had a bunch of errands to do and things to buy. So I started off driving south to Kings Plaza to start this long list.
I do a few things but I decide to get a drink on my way out. It is like 12:00. So I head over to the little booth that is near the Avenue U exit, right next to the Sbarro and the Macy's. It's a little booth with 2 entrances where you can walk in out and in a straight line.
I didn't take a pic, but the camera and the woman are focusing on it at 0:23.
I'm in there and there's this Indian looking dude at the counter taking money for regular transactions and some chubby white woman, looks like Russian or something, taking the lotto ticket orders. I make eye contact with the Indian guy on entry. I'm in there, I grab a Gatorade and wait behind 2 people on line.
Some old yet tall white lady at the front wants to buy Tic Tacs, some black woman is in front of me, and there's this skinny, sagging jeans wearing babyfaced skinny teenager (maybe 15-17) walking in there near the black woman. I'm not really noticing the kid, I'm much more interested in the fact that this old lady is trying to purchase white and pink Tic Tacs; I'd never seen those before. He tells her that the 2 Tic Tacs total 2 dollars.
She picks up another.
He looks up at the line again, gives the woman her change, next woman (the black one) moves up.
I look and I see the kid now at the exit/entrance away from the entrance to the mall near the mini -Pringles cans. He looks at it, nonchalantly grabs a can and puts it in his jacket while talking to another kid right on the outside the booth. I'm just like

watching how this kid came in and slid through just like that all while that man's head was down counting the change for the 20 I gave him for the $2 Gatorade (rip off mall pricing).
I walk out that same opening in amazement as I'm taking a sip of the drink, not forgetting the irony of where I was headed later on.
I honestly could not believe what I had just seen and I probably could not have come up with a better spin if I had tried.

This has been on my mind ALL DAY and I still can't believe it.
A few hours and a couple more finished things later, I was ready to head to Queens. I input 89-11 Merrick Boulevard into the GPS and was ready to go.
I was not ready to deal with all the after-school traffic in Williamsburg nor all the slow moving traffic with trucks on the BQE. I eventually get there at like 3:30-something, and I'm ready to roll. I park at the corner of Merrick and 89th, put 2 quarters in the meter for 30 minutes, and I'm on my way.
I get there and the only thing I remembered is the place has no doors. I walk all along the side of the building and I see no stores with no doors. I'm like, "

Why didn't this guy just tell me what bus stop was in front? I see all these bus stops."
I head into the library because it had been a while since I had used the bathroom. The entrance didn't even look like a proper entrance; yellow tape, plywood, and tools where everywhere. I went into the bathroom and I could clearly see some guy in the toilet stall had his coat on the floor, other stall was on the floor, and there were 2 urinals aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallll the way on the left and, for some reason, further back than the toilets, looking almost like a walk-in closet. One urinal was free, but I no longer had the urge.
I decided to check the coli one last time before heading home. That's when I saw the place was inside and across from the donut shop. I saw a donut shop, I said to myself.

I walked back across the street and through some little store and saw this little interior mall. Some store named ".... organic..." looked like the place with 2 entrances and no doors. I walk in and some Indian guy with a brown sweater and combover hair is at the register and some fat-looking "Spanish" (DR/PR?) woman has her arms folded near the chips. Place was a lot smaller than I expected.
Some mother was on her way out buying stuff for her little daughter and I was the only one in there. I didn't remember what exactly the plan was, so I walked around a little bit, got the fat woman eyeing me. I didn't notice the guy watching, there were, however, plenty of high school aged kids outside. I circle around the fruit snacks rack like 3 times, then decide that I actually want one.

It had been a long ride. I didn't notice anything so I just inquisitively yell, "How much are these?"
"75 cents."
I pay for them and leave through the side that takes me in front of the S&S Roti shop. I notice a hair store also. I stand there for like 2 minutes "taking notes"

, but they seemed to overwhelmed with the pre-rush hour crowd to notice me. There are 2

security guards in the halls though. They're not really doing anything.
I see that my time is about to be up.
I snap a pic for proof.
