Everything they've booked since Mania has been inconsistent and shytty. Fortunately the fukkery still entertains me - or at least, the reaction to it. Otherwise I would probably just go to sleep.

IMO, yes .

Just like most of the bullshyt stories and boring matches is their fault. There is a decent amount of talent on that roster - both brands too. They should be doing a lot better with them. It's not just Bryan for me as I'm a fan of other wrestlers more than him but I was - and still am - excited to see him back. It has not been booked as well as I would have liked and predictably he's suffered as a result. But it's not a big thing for me because it's just another in a long line of bad booking decisions from the company.

But I'm a masochist when it comes to WWE - even when it's bad, I take solace in clowning the product and listening to other people clown it too .

When matches are bad it’s on the talent. When the stories around the matches are bad it’s on the company. They haven’t given a compelling story to anything on the roster. Nak and AJ are beefing because nak kicked aj in the balls. That’s it. Some elementary school shyt. The only actual stories going on right now are Sammie and Kevin and then Sasha and bailey. And both of those are kinda the same storyline of friends having issues. That’s it. On a show full of wrestlers with at least 5 hours of programming a week, there are two stories to follow. Oh and whatever the hell they're doing with Roman.

They haven’t given anyone a reason to care about Bryan or anyone else on the roster.

and it's been Punk > Bryan since day 1, but i feel it's harsh to say nobody cares about him when what wrestler besides Cena does a non wrestling fan care about? In 2018 Flair is more popular at 80 than anyone on the roster the last 8 or so years off of a migos video

Bryan’s problem is like most everyone’s problem now: wrestling just for wrestling sake. There’s no stories or angles to any of the shyt so no one gives a shyt. Like someone said in another thread, that shyt is cool for the IWC but casual fans and a mass audience doesn’t want that shyt. shyt even we don’t want it because a lot of these shows have good wrestling. Some of its great. But we don’t give a shyt. It’s a reason half our watch threads are derailed with music, ass, video games, and breakfast.

If this shyt was really compelling tv there would be none of that. And compelling tv gives you a reason to care about the people you’re watching. I love Elias but I’d be lying if I said I really really care about anything he’s doing right now.

CM Punk seems like the last real character/personality that WWE had.
Maybe he wasn't "the face" that WWE wanted. But he was unique and really polarizing (probably hated by many). And you kinda need wrestlers that bring out that kind of reaction.

Just my view tho. I haven't been really into WWE in a long time.
